Hackers steal government emails on Microsoft ExchangeMarch 2021
Computer hackers in recent weeks have stolen thousands of emails from US government agencies and small businesses that use Microsoft Exchange.
Microsoft believes the theft was carried out by a hacker group known as Hafnium that may be sponsored by the Chinese government, The New York Times reported on March 6.
The security breach comes after a major attack on US government agencies late last year. Hackers supported by the Russian government were probably responsible for those attacks.
